Do You Know Lacrosse?
It is in our very own community (North Simcoe) where the French priests first saw this sport played by the Huron Braves in the 1600's and so named the game lacrosse, as the stick they used resembled a Bishops crosier.

Midland Minor Lacrosse has for many years carried on this tradition by introducing the areas youth to Canadas National Summer Game. Our success is demonstrated by the many banners you will see hanging in the North Simcoe Sports & Recreation Centre arena.

Today Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in North America.
And Lacrosse develops a high level of mental and physical conditioning which is much needed for the youth of today.
